Stellar created the Stellar Foundation to support a wide array of local nonprofits including Community Connections of Jacksonville, The Sulzbacher Center and Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Organized and funded large-scale donations of care packages to troops serving in Iraq. Created their own local event showing support for the Donna Foundation during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by which employees wear jeans to work in exchange for a donation to the foundation. Supported the Jessica Project, which accepts donations of new headscarves to distribute to local women undergoing chemotherapy. Established Stellar Academy of Engineering at Nease High School, providing on-site instruction to engineering students; provides one of the company’s employees each day to teach four periods of drafting. Has sponsored three “dreams” for Dreams Come True, nonprofit helping critically ill children in Northeast Florida.
